Online tuition can be a great option for pupils who live further away, or who would rather not brave the heavy evening traffic in and around Cambridge to get to my place. I have been teaching adults and older children this way for many years, with very good results.
I also offer blended tuition (a mixture of Zoom and in-person lessons) – you can mix the two in any way you like, as long as I know on a given evening whether to expect you at the front door or on my screen!
Online learning does not require a lot of expensive equipment. It does need a stable internet connection and it does need a certain amount of time and effort (especially in the first couple of sessions) to find the optimal setup of your room and your device. I have a lot of experience and a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn’t, and can help you to get this right so that you get the best possible experience.
